The Man’s private property of course. But, private property that is destroyed at the end of the festival. Indeed, art that is to be destroyed is (or, was, at the two BM fetivals I attended) included in the festivities.  Did the powers that run BM really have to prosecute?  Seems to me the better approach would have been just roll with it (which would have been more in keeping with the anti-establishment theme of the festival) than get The Man to  enforece a felony chage against this sap.
